I’ve haven't always been a veggie loving Nutritional Therapist...

There are many chapters to my health story, but for the sake of brevity, I want to share this chapter of my personal health journey with you... The chapter when I became aware that I was unwell, and the turning point.

The above picture is me at 24 years old on the left vs 5 years later on the right. The inflammation was real, yall! 😱

My hair was thinning and falling out, my face and body were puffy, I had cystic hormonal acne, bleeding gums, bloating, underlying conditions, low energy & motivation, 0 self esteem or belief (and that is the short summary!)

And do you know the biggest cracker?

I didn't know I was unwell.

I thought the way I felt was normal and that is just how life was 😬

Is that you too? 

I'm so grateful I began training as a nutritional therapist shortly after. Through education, nutrition and lifestyle changes, things began to change.

Now my hair and skin is healthier than ever, energy is cleaner, my ailments are minimal and I feel better in more ways I can even describe.

But what I really want to emphasise is that my healing has been SO much more than the physical changes a picture can show.

The inner healing & learning that has come from the complementary & alternative medicine world these past 5 years has been priceless, and has resulted in a stronger spiritual practice, sense of self, belief and purpose. And there is still (always) more work to be done- but now I'm excited about it. Excited about where I can keep improving to feel better and better, for longer! All you Human Designer buffs know- as a 4/6 Projector, I've got to go live it to learn it, and I'm here to guide others through it!

I've now been a fully-certified Nutritional Therapist since 2019, helping my clients achieve their wellness goals. I specialise in creating personalised plans and providing the necessary tools and resources to guide, support, and assist you in achieving your desired goals.

The essence of my work is to facilitate self-growth by helping you identify your core mind, body and spirit challenges, so that you can overcome them with empowered education. 

I'll leave you with a few nuggets on healing I've learnt over the years that I work by:

  • First, do no harm

  • Healing is rarely a quick fix

  • Healing begins with awareness

  • Healing is about being consistent and persistent

  • Healing is a unique journey for each individual - there is no one size fits all

  • Healing is empowered through education

  • Healing the body leads to healing the mind and spirit (and visa versa!)

  • Healing is not the end game.
